Private Buckham Singh
Private Buckam Singh was one of the first Sikh Canadian WW1 Soldiers.
He spent his last days in Kitchener and died from tuberculosis at age 25 in 1919.
He is buried in Kitchener's Mount Hope Cemetary.
His grave here is the only known WWI Sikh Canadian Soldier’s military grave in Canada
He is honoured on every Sikh Remembrance Day along will all Sikh soldiers who gave us our freedom.
