October 10: Leaf Drop-Off Sites Open October 20: RED ZONE Hot Spot Neighbourhoods Can Start Raking Out Leaves November 3-7: First Week Of Single Leaf Pickup BLUE ZONE (no raking after 7am on Monday, November 3) November 10-14: Second Week Of Single Leaf Pickup YELLOW ZONE(no raking after 7am on Monday Nov. 10) (No Pick Up On Remembrance Day Nov 11) November 17-21: Third Week Of Single Leaf Pickup BROWN ZONE (no raking after 7am on Monday, November 17) November 24: Hot Spot Neighbourhoods’ Last Day To Rake Out (No Later Than 7 a.m.) November 24 - 28 - We will pick up one last time in each Hot Spot area during this week December 5 - Leaf Drop Off Sites Close

Most areas bag their leaves for pickup on their scheduled waste collection day or take them to a drop off location.
Leaves are picked-up as required to make sure there are no safety hazards on roadways. Before and after those dates, leaves should be bagged for pick up on scheduled waste collection days.

Rake your leaves to the roadside by 7 a.m. on the first day of your scheduled pick-up week Don’t rake your leaves onto the road earlier than the weekend before the first day of your scheduled pick-up week Don’t rake or pile leaves onto catch basins. If you notice a blocked catch basin, call 519 741-2345 Street Sweepers are not designed to collect large amounts of leaves.
