Your leaf collection and drop-off options depend on where you live in Kitchener.

Most areas bag their leaves for pickup on their scheduled waste collection day or take them to a drop off location.

Some areas with significant tree cover are placed in Blue, Yellow & Brown zones.
Each zone has a day in November when loose leaves can be raked to the curb by 7am for pick up that week.
Blue Zone - November 4
Yellow Zone - November 12
Brown Zone - November 18
Before and after that date, leaves should be bagged for pick up on scheduled waste collection days

In heavily forested areas (Red Zones) loose leaves can be raked to the curb for pick up from October 21 to November 25.
Leaves are picked-up as required to make sure there are no safety hazards on roadways.
Before and after those dates, leaves should be bagged for pick up on scheduled waste collection days.
